Well, it's been a while, but I've put up a new blog post this morning, discussing with how time passes within panels on a page of comic storytelling, and how lettering placement can affect it… using a classic scene from Swamp Thing as an example.

As Time Goes Byyyyyy...
Wow… I can't believe I've been so slack about keeping this page (and my blog!) updated. I visit dA every day to soak up a little artistic inspiration, but have rather shamefully failed to give much of anything back. In my defence, I have been lettering 75-100 pages of comics every week, which takes up a fair bit of time, but I should really try to do better.
I've just started to try and make time for a daily sketch again and — once I re-discover how to make my drawing hand do what I want — I may start to post some of the results up here.
In the meantime, though, I have revived my blog, starting with a quick, but hopefully informative, post
The Galaxy's Greatest Comic
We have a new blog post today: much-loved British anthology 2000AD's birthday and what 35 years of lettering has meant to me
